Heinz Kreuzer
Friday 18 may 2012 / 14:00
Lecture: My life in wood.
In this lecture, Heinz Kreuzer will give his opinion and share his experiences on cutting proper tonewood. Having cut thousands of backs, sides and soundboards for bowed instruments and guitars, in both maple and spruce, and having a great knowledge of wood and all its properties, he is the best man to give us an insight in this subject.

For 45 years Heinz Kreuzer has sawn and sold the most precious maple and european spruce on the market. He established his company in 1967 in Mittenwald, in the German alps, buying , sawing and reselling maple from Bosnia and spruce from the alps. Trained as a violinmaker himself, he understands profoundly what a good piece of tone wood should be. Heinz Kreuzer is regarded as a big authority in the field of this fascinating material. An honor!
